Thinking out loud.
Short notes on growth, distribution and consumer behaviour. Mostly to make sense of things.
I’ve spent the last several years working across FMCG and startups - growth, distribution, brand, the parts of a business that decide whether a product ever actually reaches a person. I notice things, half understand them, and move on. This is where I’m going to stop and think them through properly.
I’m not starting this to build an audience. I’m starting it because I keep having half thoughts about my work - growth, distribution, why people buy what they buy - and they disappear before I do anything with them.
So this is where I’ll slow down and finish the thought. Notes on what I’m learning, the industries I keep reading about, the things I’m still confused by.
Written mostly for me to make sense of things and to keep a record I can look back on. If it’s useful to you, that’s a bonus.
Most pieces will be short. Some will be experiments. New notes whenever I have something worth keeping.
Thanks for reading.
I work on growth, distribution, partnerships and brand for early stage companies, and I write here to make sense of what I’m learning. If something landed (or you think I’ve got it wrong), I’d like to hear it just reply, or find me below.
